Whatever, all of the smartest people in the United States and the world and throughout all of history were ANTI war. WTF are you talking about?

Well considering I specified and throughout all of history before you started name calling. Also please be aware that the founding fathers went to war only as a last resort.

1 uhh I don't know... JESUS
2 Einstein
3 Benjamin Franklin, maybe the most brilliant philosopher the United States has ever seen. He opposed the war from the beginning and continued to attempt negotiation with the king long into the war.

I really like the concept, but i think it would be better if you actually found the actuall statistics. They aren't that hard to find. Also, I'm only in 10th grade and I knew how to spell political a while before 9th grade.

Actually, the colonists were quite eager to go to war. They were basiclly looking for an excuse.

Jesus, you mean the same Jesus the froze the sun in the sky durring a 'war' so the day would last longer so the enemy would be defeated??
Look that one up jack

Einstein? Mr. Bomb man himself...well I'll give you that one, he did regret it.

But NICE try on the Jesus thing. He doesn't like war well duh but I dont see him as the protestor type considering all the faithful men in the bible who had to fight and win wars.

Buhhda....he means what to me why?

What about Ghandi, Benjamin Frankiln, The Dhali Lama and Martin Luther King Jr. ?
HA! Got you there. And except for the Dhali Lama, I had mentioned them all before.
Yeah, you only mentioned the ones that you had a half reasonable chance of refuting and tried to push the others aside.
Yeah, Einstein only designed the bomb out of his sense of duty and pleaded with everyone never to use it. As for Jesus, he did alot of inconsistent things so I can't verify what he did at any given point in history, though I am very sure that the general trend in his teachings and deeds was one of pacifism and and using negotiations to solve conflict.

As for Buddha, I thought that the name of the only human ever to attain enlightenment and remain on Earth would ring a bell. He preached strict pacifism and taught never to strike back even if you are in deadly danger. Buddhism is still practiced all over the world and is a respected religion.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA.......I am tearing!! I will go find you the chapter if you like. Jesus doesnt stamp appoval on war, although In old testament time it was an eye for an eye but now it is turn the other check. You can have vengeful God wgo rained fire balls on citys that were sexualy immoral and flooded the earth are you can have Compassionate Jesus who came down and died for our sins (aka the love thy enemy what not) I'd like to think Jesus wouldnt want out asses whooped and that he firmly endoses standing up for whats right, and we dont want another attack and we sure as hell dont want Saddam killing more people with mass graves, his WMDs that he did have at one time , his treay violations, his imperialism top take over surrounding nations by force, or his taking money from the oil for food, not feeding his peopel and letting them die, I know you wont be satisfied till we find a Jet Plane under the frekin sand and official say thats a WMD right there but sitting here bitching aint gonna solve your insecurities either

And as for the consistency of Buddha, I guess there are a whole lot more records sceintific for him then arent there? , Who gives a flying F about the Dhali Lama? Really? I want to Know, was his country in a recent terror attack, could be again if not properly defended etc. etc.

It is easy as hell to preach peace and rub us who live in the real worlds faces in the ground but what do you know about foreign poilicy, the biggest experts in the world arent good at that kinda of stuff. Things could have went better, however they could have went worse. especialy under Gore, good lord. Get over it, in a wee bit hes gonna be in or out and you gonna have to live with it

I don't care about the U.S.'s stupid paranoia, my original statement was that all of the smartest people in history were ardent pacifists, annd you still haven't disproven that.
All of the most warlike people in history on the other hand, are generally recognised to be either stupid or crazy.

Your arguments are marginal at best and you haven't said anything about Benjamin Franklin, Martin Luther King OR GHANDI, the man who liberated India in a STRICTLY NONVIOLENT revolution.

You make your arguments just like that fork tounged harpy Ann Coulter, all she does is focus on anything she can to get the public's mind off the facts. In reality, you are both grasping at straws and using media buzzwords to try and browbeat the reader into beleif.

And maybe you haven't heard but, the Dhali Lama was the leader of Tibet, which was CONQUERED, it suffered much worse than a little terrorist attack. And he STILL preaches nonviolence.
